The redwood forest ridges of Mount Tamalpais State Park are just a stone’s throw from San Francisco. The rolling green hills hug and ocean and host miles of trails for hiking, running, biking, and camping. At one moment you might find yourself surrounded by soft grassy knolls and wild flowers. A few minutes later you might be standing in a sunbeam flooding through the ancient redwoods. The layers of hills turn purple at sunset, and the deer dot the horizon as the sun goes to sleep.

That’s awesome!, I recently just went camping to the marine headlands. That’s a spot I’ll have to check in the future.
Thanks for sharing!
The Marin Headlands are a very special place :)) Good choice!! If you do check out Mt. Tam, I suggest hiking the Dipsea trail to Stinson Beach, or hiking up to East Peak from the Mountain Home Inn. Both routes have incredible views!
